Supporting animal and plant genome research, this center serves as a multidisciplinary research platform aiming to integrate genomic innovations into the agriculture and biotechnology sectors.

AgriGenomic Hub (AgriGx) was established within the framework of the Competitive Sectors Program, a financial cooperation initiative between the European Union and the Republic of Turkey, with the mission of developing R&D capacity in agricultural and food biotechnologies. However, AgriGx is not limited to agricultural biotechnology but offers a wide range of services covering all genomic sciences. Our center provides advanced technological solutions for researchers, academics, and industrial stakeholders in many different fields such as human genetics, biomedical research, biodiversity analysis, ecogenomics studies, forensic genetics, and environmental DNA analysis.

Leading Technological Infrastructure and Scientific Approach Our laboratory infrastructure is equipped with world-class equipment in areas such as genomic analysis, bioinformatic data processing, high-capacity sequencing, precision data acquisition, and large-scale biological data analysis. This robust infrastructure is integrated into our training programs, offering participants both theoretical knowledge and advanced practical application opportunities, and equipping them with the skills to work using the most up-to-date scientific methods. The findings obtained in our research and projects enable participants and collaborators to acquire the knowledge and skills to lead.
