#MarineBiology #ConservationBiology #EndangeredSpecies #MarineMammals

My passion is for aquatic ecosystems, marine mammals, and conservation biology.

Tutku Taşğın completed her primary, secondary, and high school education in İzmir and received her bachelor's degree from the Biology Department of Ege University. During her undergraduate studies, she took courses and participated in field studies on nature conservation and climate change at Poznan University of Life Sciences in Poland as part of the Erasmus Learning Mobility Program.

Following her undergraduate studies, she completed training in diving and underwater photography. In the summer of 2024, she participated in the "Giant Guardians of the Deep Seas" research expedition conducted by the Marine Mammal Research Association (DMAD), carrying out field studies on marine mammals. She currently continues her work as a volunteer within DMAD.

Tutku Taşğın, who aims to conduct academic and applied research on aquatic ecosystems and marine mammals during her master's studies, intends to make scientific contributions in this field.
