Ahmetcan Imbatesen

Ahmetcan is interested in zooplankton ecology, harmful algal blooms, and biological oceanography.
Ahmetcan İmbatesen completed his undergraduate studies at Hacettepe University, Faculty of Science, Department of Biology (2017–2022). He received his master's degree from Dokuz Eylül University, Institute of Marine Sciences and Technology, in the Living Marine Resources program (2022–2025). His thesis examined the temporal and spatial distribution of Noctiluca scintillans in the Gulf of İzmir. He is currently pursuing his doctoral studies at Ankara University, Faculty of Agriculture, Department of Fisheries (2025–).
